ITT A-C Pump has been at the forefront in developing, designing and custom building a wide range of fire pump systems for over 80 years. This includes not only individual pumps, but also prefabricated packages and house units that meet every fire protection need. Typical applications of ITT A-C fire pumps include: industrial plants, government facilities, commercial construction, and institutions such as hospitals, correctional facilities and schools.

Fire Protection Systems

The basic fire pump system consists of a pump with driver (electric motor or diesel engine), ITC controller, and other peripherals such as flowmeters, relief valves, pressure gauges, fuel tanks, etc. These can be shipped as separate units or they can be combined on a single skid with interconnecting piping, valves, and electrical wiring. For outdoor service, an enclosure or "house" with heating and lighting can be added to the skid.

All components must comply with NFPA-20 and the pumps must be approved by UL, ULC and/or Factory Mutual. The types of pumps available and their capacities are:

• Vertical In-Line.........................35-500 GPM................40-165 psi*
• Horizontal End-Suction............250-500 GPM................45-150 psi*
• Horizontal Split-Case.............500-5000 GPM................40-600 psi*
• Vertical Turbine.....................250-5000 GPM................90-500 psi*
